The animation shows how they appear in the forest before the make their way towards the town in which this event takes place, while the music moves the viewer from the forest to the town in which the townspeople make noise and dispel all demons, ghosts and witches, which have gathered in the town over the winter.
The mysterious figure of the Howagoaß is a character from the Bavarian forests folktales. They are known to be a half-male half-female character that symbolizes fertility and is a very prominent figure in the yearly event called Rauhnacht.
